How many cage-egg buyers can you convert?

This July cage-free egg consumers across the country are being called upon by the RSPCA to take the challenge and help convert the nation.

The cage-free challenge requires participants to make a pledge to convert as many cage buyers to cage-free as possible throughout the month.

Armed with downloadable education packs filled with posters, fact sheets and fun, informative games, participants will be sent off to talk to their family and friends about the importance of buying cage-free eggs.  Educating cage-egg buyers is the first step towards getting hens out of cages.

Switching to half a dozen cage-free eggs a week, for one year will allow one hen to live a cage-free life – a small price to pay to free a hen from a life of confinement.

The real power is in the hands of consumers. It’s time to take the cage-free challenge.
